Negotiating in Your Best Interest
When a buyer makes an offer, I will prepare a Net Seller's Sheet which subtracts all your expenses from the offer price. I will present the offer and Net Seller's Sheet to you at the same time. I will review all terms and conditions of the purchase offer with you so that both you and I have a complete understanding of what is in the offer. I will also point out those terms and conditions that tend to be consistent with most offers in the area as well as those that are not.
 
After having sufficient time to review the offer, you may accept it as written, reject it, or ask me to prepare a counter offer which only lists those items in the initial offer that you want changed. I will assess the risk of each possibility so that you can make the decision that is best for you.
 
Negotiating contracts have been a topic in many of my real estate designation classes.
 
Usually, a successful transaction is one in which the seller and buyer are satisfied with the majority of terms and conditions of the sale.
