The Arts 
  • Clintonville Arts Guild was formed in 1972 as a venue to share information, ideas, and resources, and to support the growth of the visual arts in Clintonville. Each year, the guild sponsors several exhibits, including the November Holiday Show and Sale, and offers scholarship funds to a local student planning to enter college and major in art. 
  • Clintonville Community Band is area neighbors who have fun making music together. No auditions. The group performs public concerts featuring composers that range from Bernstein to Shostakovich and beyond. 
  • Clintonville Community Choir is a place to make friends and sing good music - some of it by local composers. No audition required, just a love of music. The choir produces three concerts each year. 
Civic Affairs  
  • Clintonville Area Commission was created by Clintonville City Council to gather grass-roots input on municipal policies and actions. Each member represents one of nine Clintonville districts, and is elected by a majority vote of district residents. The web-site tracks CAC activities and agendas, and links to city and local sites relating to commission concerns.
  • Clintonville Community Fund uses the proceeds from its fundraising events to offer grants to groups that enhance the public life in Clintonville in one or more of these areas; health, social services, urban affairs, arts and humanities, conservation, and education.
  • Clintonville Incorporated is a volunteer group of local residents and business owners who work with the Chamber of Commerce, the Area Commission, and city officials to improve the infrastructure of Clintonville commercial districts.  The group focuses on implementing the community-endorsed North High Street Corridor / Clintonville Market Study and Action Plan.
  • Clintonville Woman's Club sponsors lectures, cultural events, group activities for dozens of hobbies and interests, and volunteer work that benefits countless charities in Central Ohio. The group's facility provides catering and ample meeting space, and is available on non-profit basis to families and organizations throughout the community.
  • North Broadway Street Association sponsors a web-site that celebrates the history and sights of North Broadway from the river to the interstate.
  • United Crestview Area Neighbors is the civic association for the part of Clintonville that lies southeast of Weber Road and N High Street. The web site highlights area activities and interests, and provides a blog for local residents.
  • Walhalla Ravine Organization is a network of ravine-area residents that have a useful web-site that includes a blog and links to environmental, recreational, home-maintenance, civic, and myriad other topics of local concern.
  • Adena Brook Community are volunteers who help maintain Overbrook Ravine Park and the surrounding watershed through clean-up, pruning, planting, invasive-species removal, and education (for members and the public) on all aspects of supporting the eco-system.
  • Clinton-Como Park Neighborhood is a network of residents in the Clinton-Como Park area who use their web-site to stay in touch, plan activities, and circulate knowledge and news of local interest.
  • Friends of the Lower Olentangy Watershed support the ecology of the Olentangy River and its tributaries by means of public education, advocacy, monitoring studies, and volunteer activities such as clean-ups and tree planting.
  • Friends of the Ravines is an educational, advocacy, and volunteer organization that promotes the environmental health of ravines in and near Clintonville.
  • Lower Olentangy Urban Arboretum volunteers are restoring the environment in the South Clintonville and Glen Echo Park neighborhoods through trash pick-up, invasive-plant removal, public education, and a massive effort to plant indigenous tree species in the curb lawns.
  • Clintonville-Beechwold Community Resources Center (CRC) is a non-profit agency for folks who need help to achieve self-sufficiency. Programs include senior services, after-school programs, a food pantry, and much more. The CRC improves life for everyone in Clintonville, and there are countless ways for you to support this effort.
  • Clintonville Farmer's Market mission is to support excellent growers and produces while nurturing community appreciation of wholesome local foods in a lively neighborhood setting.  It is a producer-only market, which means that everything you see at market is grown or produced by the stall farmer or cottage food producer.
  • Clintonville Fourth of July Celebration is a tradition more than 50 years old - evening fireworks, preceded by a full day of games, contests, food, and other fun.  This annual event is organized and funded entirely by members of the local community.
  • Clintonville Park of Roses, which USA Today newspaper calls “one of the largest and most celebrated municipal rose gardens in the United States”, is part of Whetstone Park.
